Kangaroo – Hansel & Gretel’s

Our joey-sized kangaroo is wearing a Santa hat and holding on tight to a big iced gingerbread star, with a little crowd of gingerbread men, cinnamon sticks and star anise gathered around. Proof that Christmas treats taste better when you don’t have to share.

The scent is Hansel & Gretel’s House: a sweet, fairytale bakery of warm spice, sugared biscuit and a hint of caramel, like stepping inside a gingerbread cottage. Paula designed the artwork herself and had it sublimated onto the jar, so this kangaroo is yours and nobody else’s. Lift the lid and there’s one more surprise: watercolour eucalyptus leaves printed around the inside rim.

Candle care: Trim the wick to about 5 mm before every burn. On the first burn, let the wax melt right out to the edge of the jar so it doesn’t tunnel. Burn on a heat-resistant surface, away from draughts, curtains and anything flammable. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets. Stop burning when about 1 cm of wax remains.
