Sugar Glider – Gingerbread

Our little sugar glider is hanging on to a gum branch in a Santa hat, big eyes fixed on the gingerbread heart ornament dangling just within reach. Turn the jar around and you’ll see why it’s so keen: a gingerbread house, iced and ready for Christmas.

The scent is Gingerbread: warm spice and sweet, freshly baked biscuit, all the joy of Christmas baking without turning the oven on in December. Paula designed the artwork herself and had it sublimated onto the jar, so this glider won’t turn up anywhere else. Lift the lid and there’s one more surprise: watercolour eucalyptus leaves printed around the inside rim.

Candle care: Trim the wick to about 5 mm before every burn. On the first burn, let the wax melt right out to the edge of the jar so it doesn’t tunnel. Burn on a heat-resistant surface, away from draughts, curtains and anything flammable. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets. Stop burning when about 1 cm of wax remains.
